Our handmade soaps are lovingly crafted by Mad About Nature, a small family business based in Leicestershire. We are proud to stock their beautiful range, which is wrapped in our signature Coo Corner packaging.
Each soap is made using the traditional cold process method. As a result, the natural glycerine produced during soap making is retained. This naturally moisturising ingredient helps keep your skin feeling soft and hydrated. By comparison, many commercial soaps remove glycerine during production, which can leave skin feeling dry.
Made with Natural Ingredients
We believe that simple, natural ingredients create the best soap. That’s why every bar is made using carefully selected ingredients, including:
- Pure essential oils
- Dried herbs and flowers
- Cocoa butter
- Coconut oil
- Olive oil
- Other nourishing plant-based oils
In addition, our soaps contain no artificial colours, synthetic fragrances, unnecessary chemicals, or added preservatives. Instead, they are made with ingredients chosen for their natural benefits.
Free From Harsh Chemicals
We keep our soaps as natural as possible. Therefore, you won’t find any of the following ingredients:
- Palm oil
- SLS
- EDTA
- Parabens
- Artificial additives
As a result, you can enjoy a gentle cleansing bar made with carefully selected natural ingredients.
Vegan & Vegetarian Friendly
Most of our soaps are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. However, a small number contain goat’s milk or bee products, so these are not vegan friendly.
What’s more, we are firmly opposed to animal testing and the mistreatment of animals. Every soap has been safety tested and complies with current UK legislation and regulations, giving you added peace of mind.
A More Sustainable Choice
One of the things we love most about this range is the maker’s commitment to reducing waste. Rather than discarding perfectly good soap offcuts, they give them a second life.
For this reason, we offer mixed soap offcuts in a reusable exfoliating soap bag. Not only does the bag help create a rich lather, but it also provides gentle exfoliation and ensures every last piece of soap can be used.
