Growbars are easy to grow, exciting seed collections, nestled in fertile coir bars, carefully created and packaged by our small team in South London.
Sustainability
Growbar is 100% eco-friendly. Our card packaging can be widely recycled, the recyclable film wrap is made from sugar cane waste, and coir is a sustainable alternative to peat that’s made with coconut fibres.
How does it work
- Unwrap seeded bar – Unwrap your Growbar and place it into a container with plenty of space to allow it to expand.
- Water – Gently pour half a litre of water and position the Growbar indoors on a warm, bright windowsill.
- Watch them growWater regularly as the seedlings sprout and grow, they should be happy for another month.
- Pot on – When seedlings have grown four leaves, they are ready to be potted on or planted out.

Each Growbar is carefully put together by our small team in South London. We use fresh seeds in each Growbar and some seeds will germinate much quicker than others. There are up to three different varieties of seed in each Growbar and not all seeds will germinate at the same time. We cannot guarantee that all seeds will germinate.
